“Winter’s Joy” Camellia in the Nursery

We think something “living and green” is the best gift of all. A “Winter’s Joy” Camellia fits the bill perfectly. Generally blooms 4 to 6 weeks from Fall into Winter with perfectly shaped lipstick pink flowers. Low maintenance, evergreen with dark green glossy foliage, part-sun to shade, cold-tolerant, and no dead-heading required. Make someone’s holiday perfect by gifting “Winter’s Joy”.

Find the Perfect Christmas Tree Yet?

We hope everyone is finding their perfect Christmas tree. If not, please stop by and see our selection! We hear that cut-your-own farms are closing, and others’ selections are poor or expensive. We purchased extra trees this year in hopes of seeing that everyone finds a tree, and still have a nice selection. While you’re here, pick up a beautiful poinsettia, wreath, or hostess gift. We look forward to seeing you!

Come See Our Large Selection of Christmas Trees

Come see our large selection of Christmas trees! We carry Fraser, Douglas, Canaan, and Concolor. Larger sizes are limited so best not to delay. We have fresh wreaths and roping too. Be sure to stop by the gift shop for a very nice selection of all things Christmas. Open 9 to 5 everyday, located at 16435 York Road, Monkton. HO HO HO, it’s off to Kingsdene we go!🎅🎄

Rebloom Azalea in the Fall

Rebloom Azalea doing it’s thing, reblooming in the Fall! Has loads of flowers in the Spring and then will bloom again in late Summer and early Fall. Great for beds and borders because of it’s compact size. Available in the nursery.

Fall Bloom from Our Limelight Hydrangeas

Talk about a plant that just keeps on giving! This is a bloom from one of our Limelight Hydrangeas just beginning to transition into its beautiful Fall colors.

The name says it all, the blooms start out as a lovely lime green color in the Summer and will bloom profusely throughout the season. Then the magic happens. Fall arrives and the blooms change into a less vivid green all while adding pink and burgundy tones. Perfect for lending interest to your Fall landscape. Available in the nursery.

Thanks to our nursery manager Carla for “modeling” our bloom and thanks to “Nursery Jane”, {not to be confused with “Doppler Jane”, our in house weather prognosticator} for snapping the pic.

The Gift Shop is Looking Very Fall Like

And just like that, summer faded into Fall. Here at the nursery Fall is one of our favorite seasons. Some of the plants in the nursery are showing their “true colors”, pumpkins are arriving, the gift shop is looking very Fall like. They say Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year and we agree, but we think Fall is just downright fabulous. It’s a beautiful day so we hope you will come out and visit us. We are well stocked with everything you need to make your home warm and cozy for this, the most colorful of seasons.
